it has been almost a week since i last updated. and i'm getting lazier and lazier to do so. my mind is in such a rut, thinking about my studies. if the o levels were to start now, i will definitely die because i'm not well prepared.

i need a guardian angel to help me out!

anyway, all this hype about LIVE EARTH is just too much and it's not doing much to help save the earth.

firstly, the Live Earth concerts are broadcast on tv for 24 hours straight. ultimately, people will switch on their televisions and this leaves the electricity running. i really can't find the rationale behind these concerts because they're just showcasing the artistes. in what way is the message spread across to the people? is it effective?

so i switched on the tv and on the screen was rihanna singing. well, she wasn't even singing. her voice sounded awful unplugged. traumatised, i quickly switched off the tv. there, i am playing a part in saving the earth, without having to watch Live Earth.

PE lesson with ms thia again! bloody intensive. thankfully, i didn't feel like puking after that.

then i bet with zul in class. we wanted to see who could complete the sudoku faster and i won the bet! well, it was only $5, but it was still easy money. 

   haha. anybody wanna challenge sudoku with me??

i learnt something new in biology class today.

   according to some research, criminals have somewhat similar type of genes.

so it means that the type of genes somehow determines the person's characteristics and thus these criminals were born with genes that are alike. ok, i don't really know about this topic much, i just learned it anyway. oh and feminine guys are also born with similar types of genes, which is the XXY chromosomes i think. therefore, they can't be blamed if they're like that, it's already inside them. i think it's kinda sad to see them face the blatant discrimination among the society.

 zul told me that drinking soya bean helps in gaining weight.

hey if u guys got any tips on gaining weight, don't be stingy and share them with me. i'm sick and tired of being too thin.

during physics CHOICE, mr junus said that me and zul did our physics worksheet to slow. hey, it's not our fault ok! the questions that were given required time to think and furthermore we needed to apply formulas and do calculations to finally obtain the correct answer.

             anyway, i've watched The History Boys.

it's about a group of history pupils(8 boys to be exact), preparing for the Oxbridge(Oxford and Cambridge) entrance exams under the guidance of two teachers with contrasting styles. i don't really understand what they're talking about at some point because they had this really thick british accent. but it was a good movie nevertheless, i'm just not sure many would appreciate it.

what i like about the movie was, well, the boys. they're not entirely good looking but what attracted me was their boyish charm and witty humour. and i love their uniforms.

went to azri's band concert last night. the performance was pretty mediocre i should say. the emcees' attempts at entertaining the crowd were a flop and they didn't look presentable either.

the performers wore black suits with different coloured ties. azri's tie looked peculiar because it was too big and fat for his skinny frame. he should have exchanged with this fat guy who was wearing a skinny tie. then there was this pitiful guy playing the timpani at the side who was wearing a huge yellow tie which somewhat reminded me of a banana.

before the intermission, they had a percussion ensemble. it sounded fine in the beginning but then it grew irritating after a few minutes. and then this malay guy sang some kind of latin song together with the percussion ensemble. but his rendition of it sounded more like a malay song. but it was still pretty entertaining though.

after the intermission, students from some secondary school bands combined together to perform. it was alright. they played yamato starblazer, a song that my band had played for our first concert, Giovialita. i don't mean to boast, but i prefer my band's rendition of it.

in conclusion, only azri and another few rare individuals kept me entertained. their enthusiasm and the way they move to the music was captivating, really. 

so after the concert, i got myself a new boyfriend. he's a very cute, very handsome sec1 boy who plays the saxophone. his name is Danial(or is it Daniel?). but after a few minutes, he left me for hyekel, that biatch! man, i still can't get over the fact that i had a gay boyfriend.

well, i still had lots of fun that night even though quraishah was a tad temperamental. i still have no idea why because she wouldn't tell me. luthfi told me about his weird dream, mimi said if she hadn't been friends with me she would have been a bad person(aww...) and hasyim said he doesn't like cam-whoring.

yea, i guess that's about it.

Monday

it was the first day of school and everything's just like normal. all the mundane school stuff like receiving new timetable bla bla bla.

but then i felt the temptation to kill my teacher. she's really getting on my nerves, man.

Tuesday

me and my class had our first PE lesson with Ms Thia. i think she's sick in the head or something. she made us all run like there's no tomorrow. knncb. i felt like puking after that.

then we went to the SCIENCE CENTRE. at first i thought it was going to be BORING, but i was wrong. it was an entertaining and educational experience, really. we all did this experiment on transferring DNA, btw.

we attempted to transfer a gene called Green Fluorescent Protein into a bacteria, Escherichia coli. according to the scientists, the result should produce bright green colonies on the bacteria, producing green fluorescent proteins. Ok before you guys die a painful death due to reading about this boring experiment, i shall stop.

Wednesday/ Thursday

nothing interesting happened on these two days, no point writing an account of them.

Friday

stayed back after school in the library to study A. Math with the all-time expert, none other than sherry. at the same time my beloved band juniors were all scattered around the third floor, having their sectionals.

i went to the flute section and saw the most horrifying, disgusting, gruesome, humongous zit on mirza's nose. but i failed in my attempt to capture that beautiful thing with my camera phone.

band outing did not turn out the way i expected it to be, but it was quite fun nonetheless.

to q n mimi: hey i'm really sorry for what happened yesterday. you guys seem to be angry with me even though you said it wasn't my fault. anyway, i feel horrible so please don't make me feel bad around you. at least talk to me about it rather than keeping quiet and making me feel miserable. yeah, ok that's all. i love u guys.

school is going to reopen tmr and 90% of my homework is not done. oh, hell. time passes by so fast and the next thing i know, it's going to be O levels.

O levels is about 120 days from now, btw. alrite i'll have to get my homework done asap.

as i was sitting in the bus on the way to holland rd, i looked outside and came across a sign that read:

haha. ok, i have to say it's quite a unique name.

anyway, i'm going for the band outing tomorrow. yay!!

i was at causeway pt with mimi, q n luthfi when i saw this extremely cute boy. he was approximately 5 yrs old and was riding that batman car thingy at the basement.

i automatically fall in love with his curly locks, fair skin and super cute dimple.

argh! i think i have a crush on him.

so i was looking at him, admiring his charming boyish looks, and he looked at me too! hey, i think he likes me. he's probably thinking:

"woah. this hot babe's totally checking me out. ah, good thing i'm riding on my new batman car. yeah i look cool, bebeh."

Anyway, harith creeped me out by telling me that our estate was haunted(we live nearby, btw). he said a few people saw that famous ghost lady, none other than... 'cik pon'.

but i guess it's no surprise that my estate is kinda haunted. because someone committed suicide at the block next to mine about a year ago.

this 'phenomenon' gives me the creeps.

something is wrong.

i can't put my finger on it.

i've been getting less and less sleep ever sine the hols. because i've been mugging incessantly these few days.

ok, not incessantly(that's just exaggerating).

so i went to the library ytd morning wif azri, alvin and adam. even before the lib was open, there were typical kiasu singaporeans/ eager,hardworking students waiting outside to get the best spots in the lib.

and we all studied math except for azri who went off for his school excursion.

then me n alvin got hungry. and sleepy. the cool air-conditioned atmosphere was inviting us to drift off to sleep. after about 4 hours of filling up our brains with mathematics information, we go makan at macdonald's, where mimi was having her work attachment.

alvin thought he could get free food since mimi was working there. fat hope!

with our nearly full stomachs, we walked home together. and otw home, adam gave me n alvin some 'fatherly' advice. wah, 'fatherly' advice, man.

he said, don't give excuses because of our bad results(i'm talkin abt our MYE results, btw). instead, try to improve on yourself. (i couldn't remember the whole thing, but it goes like that somehow) anyway, thanks for the advice =)

now i'm moving on to study Biology. argh i hate studying about the plants. but i love studying abt the human body, really. it's fun.

well, it's about 4 in the morning and guess what?

i'm still studying PHYSICS. and, NO, physics is not my favourite subject (if that's what you're thinking).

ugh, and there's still A.math for me to catch up on.

PHYSICS = headache

A. MATHs = double the headache

oh, the surface area of my cerebral hemispheres must be increasing by now. (great, now i'm speaking the Bio language)

Talking about science and stuff, i suggest u guys watch BRAINIAC:SCIENCE ABUSE. it's on Arts Central every tuesday night at 10pm(or isit 10.30pm?)

Anyway, instead of those mundane and ordinary experiments you do in your school science labs, BRAINIAC shows you how to have fun and experience a whole new world of science, really.
